What Would Madame Defarge Knit?

Mari learned to knit while serving in the Peace Corps. During the long cold winters she would curl up in a ball and try to stay warm, then she learned to knit and knit herself a blanket. Unfortunately being self taught she did not seam the blanket properly and the whole thing fell apart within a few months. She began designing while living and teaching English in China.
