The Yellow-Gartered Dude Abides

These socks—to paraphrase the famous saying about the mullet hairdo—are business on the bottom, party on the top. With your trouser legs down, no one will suspect the daring dash of cabling at the top of your socks. Unlike poor Malvolio in Twelfth Night, you don’t have to wear your heart on your sleeve—until you want to.

Choose from one of two sizes and from one of two styles (either with or without side ties at the cuff ). There are many interesting techniques here to keep the knitting fun, but in a sportweight yarn these socks also knit up surprisingly quickly.
