Erica Hernandez—with true Jane-ian practicality—has designed a square shawl that can easily be customized for different uses. Knit in worsted-weight yarn on size 10½ needles, it would be wonderful, big throw (and eat up a metric ton of your stash!); in fingering-weight superwash on size 5 needles, it would be a lovely, special baby gift. Jane was an artist; she would have appreciated your creative adaptation of the pattern!
